Corypheus needs to be defeated before there are any plans for war. We can't risk that sort of division before the biggest threat is addressed, so no.

[His voice is a little wry. He should have expected this, really.]

Rather, I'm trying to do something entirely peaceful this time. Those of us who aren't Loyalist are... scattered. We don't really have a community, we don't have a great deal of support. I'd like to have monthly meetings where we eat, drink, share, and connect.

You know, this is the first time since you pulled that stunt with the Chantry that I haven’t been in a non-Loyalist community. We were just usually bonding over...killing Templars, instead of food.

But if you want us to connect without all the killing, I’ll be there. Unless Nell or Kostos say no.

I'm inviting them both. I hope they won't say no. It'll be the tenth, in [he gives directions to the warehouse he's got set up for this.]

And it's healthy to do some bonding without killing. A shocking statement, coming from me, I'm certain, but it's true.

You do know how much of a fit the Loyalists and Templars are gonna throw if they find out, right? They don’t want us organized, and they’ll probably assume we’re doing killing anyway.

They have this already. Shared goal, shared views, support from the Templars and Chantry and such, and I don't care what fits they throw. They can't make us stop this because this in particular is going to promote stability. Those who protest are betraying their own kind - other mages.

It's funny how often they don't care about what they shouldn't be able to make us stop. Or about betraying their own kind. I mean--Even in the Gallows. It wasn't Templars alone that managed to weed out your mage network, I bet. We're inclined to trust each other, and then--

This is all the more reason for us to have this. They will overstep, and yes, some mages will help them there. But when we've more solidarity and unity, we can't be so easily pushed around.

[A beat, and then a trace of amusement in his voice.]

Which means they're right to fear.

I suppose they are right to fear us. We've proved that we're just as willing to fight for our rights as they are to deny us them. Organizing would help. It's a pity that Fiona is back in Skyhold.

[ Gareth may be exactly why people are afraid of them organizing. ]

Anyway, I'll probably be there. It'll be nice to meet people face to face that I know are on the same side. Not knowing who's a damned Seeker or just an ordinary guy is making me twitchy.
