They would want you to be involved without doubt, Gareth.
( She is the newest arrival here, and though she isn't exactly overwhelmed by doubt and insecurity, some things gnaw at her. That unfortunate "living being" tendency, and such.
When she speaks, there is a slight smile in her voice. She is very fond of Gareth. )
You don't need to be high profile, if that makes you uncomfortable. Having an ear to the ground, being involved, those are important steps. Slowly contributing more so that they share more information with you? That will be useful. And obviously diversifying who we have where is useful, but picking projects that you feel suit your skills and interests? That is important, too, if you wish to be able to learn more, trust your instincts.
[ She can't see the pleased smile on his lips, but she can probably hear it in his voice. It's comforting, to be assured that they'll still be there. ]
I'm sure they'd want you to be involved too, Marisol. Someone needs to make sure that we have some class in this place.
Dunno about the projects though. I guess the rifts and veils are of a personal interest, since I have this damn shard stuck in my hand. But I also showed up and immediately asked everyone if anyone had tried to remove the shard by hacking off the limb it was attached to. So. They might be giving me some odd looks.
...You know, they have an opening for someone to be the archivist around here. That sounds like something that could put me in an interesting position.
Ah, but if I cannot convince you let me give you hair treatments, how am I to convince the others to be classy?
Mm. ( A little sound of consideration, and she has to do her utmost not to laugh. ) You can say it was stress that drove you to consider brutally pragmatic approaches.
( Anyway, ) An archivist would be a good position to find yourself in. Do you think you would enjoy it?
