But it is about this illness. You're helping the researchers who are working on a cure, right?

Yeah, I figured since I know a lot about bodies and whatnot, I could give it a shot. And to be honest, it's really fascinating, to think that we could be pioneers on studying an entirely new illness thus far never before heard of, and to add the Fade effects--

Do they know how the illness is spread?

Nope. So far it only seems to be spread to Templars and Rifters, though I guess there are also some mages that are sick...? I don't know.

Nothing's for sure, which certainly hasn't stopped people from getting down and dirty with Rifters, but. When has the threat of horrifying death ever stopped people from getting laid?

Really never. We'll have to make a follow-up post about everyone's standards getting even lower.

As part of your research are people taking... samples, or something? From the sick Templars?

It might be best if someone else did it, to avoid causing suspicion. But if the team researching this are able to determine what it is that's causing this illness--particularly in Templars--and you're able to get a sample or three of it and bring it to me, I'd be grateful.
